I have read alot of great tips here on the pff for catching flounder, but I haven't had any luck. Is there anyone that has any pointers where I can go to catch one, without giving up a honey hole... I hear they filet and cook-up wonderfully! I don't have a boat, so I would need for it to be within casting distance from shore.

Under the bridges of hwy90 in between Pensacola and Pace.

Incoming tide around, or just after, dark.

Jig head w/ either a Gulp Molting or White 3" shrimp.

Capt Ollie, I am looking up your post in a second... thanks, I always look forward to reading your posts.

I am thinking about trying under the 90 bridge tonight, it's real close to where I live. I will probably try a jig, but may change that after I do some research on Capt Ollie's tips.

Thanks for answering a "common post", the longer I use the forum the more I will learn what has and has not been worn out (no need for duplication of effort)
