| My dad got in yesterday and he hasn't been saltwater fishing in years. He had brain surgery a few months ago and is feeling better now, and asked if we could go. We got out there around 5pm, and drifted the deep weed lines and grass flats, and second cast, he hooked a 14.75" spec. He cried when he had to throw it back. Repositioned the boat, and started drift #2, and he hooked into a 21" even spec, so we kept him. On the third drift, I was using a Tsunami bull minnow wieghted jerk bait, and hooked up to a 13" flounder, so he went in the cooler. The rest of the day we tried for some reds, and caught hard heads and big grunts. He had a blast! We stayed of in deeper grass flats, and drifted towards the beach. All the specks were caught on 4" Gulp Pogy's under a popping cork.
