today (monday december 31 ) my dad and i headed out to try and catch some of the grouper that we have heard about in the bay trolling for them but we quit that after about 30 minutes and so we go to the gulf hit some of out spots about 5-7 miles out and we came up the one spot and we drop and me dad hooks up 1st drop he looses the fish but he told me that he knew it was flounder i didnt belive him so i went on fishing and on my 1st drop i also hooked a flatty but i actually caught it , it was about 1.5 pounds smallest fish of the day we were there for about 1:30 and during that time we CAUGHT 12 nice size flounder i couldnt belive it.
