| Notice the 2 different boat names ? "TWO SEAS THE DAY" "SUZABELLA" bad luck to change a boat name without follwing the de-naming procedures,,

is it stripped yet? not that i hope it is. would love to know the story behind that one. and yeah, the hull seems fairly clean for there to be that much diesel soot on the transom. and the front curtains are neatly rolled up. and who leaves rods on their boat anyway? and this was on the beach? so would have to get free from a bay or intracoastal dock, no hanging dock lines, and no hull damage from knocking against the dock, then meander its way through one of the passes w/o striking a bouy or land, float along the coast and end up in navarre? hmmmmmmm

Okay, who's gonna get us pictures this morning. There should be nothing left but the fiberglass. What a shame.

-=Desperado=- (11/10/2009)
kahala boy (11/10/2009) No registration numbers...they are there.boAT looks like a 33 bertram.what a shame.amazing it handled 20 foot seas with no power and beached its self.i looked at the buoy last night it read 19.5 feet.amazing.im sure this was an accident.no way there gonna get it back in the water now after its been sitting on the prop shafts.will have to seal the stuffing boxes and tow it to haul it out.either way its gonna be expensive. hull number reads MTA2 OR MTR? CANT really tell. Its a private vessel for sure.maybe from missippii.not florida or it would have a FL in front of the numbers.Vessels not documented with the coast guard have to have hull numbers. Documented vessels have to have a stern name and the name has to be on the bow under the rub rail with the location of the vessel on the stern. also has the updated registration sticker on the window A 33 Bertram?.....seriously, your kiding right?

| After a little research on the net, I have found that Siedelmann Yachts owned, and maybe still owns, the rights to the name "PACEMAKER" and did, even though they were primarily sailboat manufacturers, manufacture power boats with the name Pacemaker on the hulls. Here is a reference to a law suit and in the link there is the history of how all this came about. http://openjurist.org/898/f2d/147/seidelmann-yachts-inc-v-pace-yacht-corporation

A photo was added on WEAR TV. There is a man on the boat and all the rods were missing. I sure would like to know what happened here

| Im a firefighter at Navarre beach and we went to the boat on Tuesday morning and got all the rods and electronics off the boat. We made contact with the owner and he is from Destin. He just bought the boat from Sarasota And while he was driving it back Sunday night, the engines went out on him just outside the Destin pass. Coast guard picked the passengers up and they anchored the boat hoping it would hold but of course it didnt in those kind of sea's. We took him back out today to get some more of his stuff off, and insurance is sending someone for the boat.

Curiosity satisfied. What a nightmare for a new boat owner. Too bad they could not have gotten in with Sea Tow Sunday night.

| Why wouldn't they have towed the boat in, too rough ? I'm surprised he came that far as high as the seas were. I would've been tempted to wait it out in Panama City or come down the intercoastal. If both engines went out at the same time, I'm assuming it would be related to the rough water ?

| We pulled this boat back in the water today. It sustained no damaged getting back in the water and appears to be in very good shape. The mechanics will start work on the engines tommorrow. If all goes well the owner may be fishing on her soon. Capt John www.seatow.com

+1 to the Firemen who recovered the contents. That made this nightmare a little less severe.
That beach was a better place than the Destin jetties. Could have been a lot worse.
