| Me and my son hit 3 mi about 8 am. Caught dinner, 5 decent white trout by 10 the went over by Pickens and trolled a couple hours with no luck there. All in all, a great day. Dinner menu: Fried white trout fillets Some kind of creation of my wifes: Shrimp/crabclaw meat balls fried Macaroni and cheese

Those white trout are good if you cook em the same day.
I like to soak mine in milk, then take them out, shake the excess milk off and roll em in zatarains fish fry. Pan fry em in canola oil. As soon as they come out, golden brown, throw em on a plate with paper towels and sprinkle some Old Bay seasoning on em. Dip em in a little spicy cocktail sauce when eating. Mmmmmm...good!

I'll have to mark my calander for March, not having a time machine and all......JK... Good job, thanks for the report! Happy eating! Whites have saved my butt several times, and are great (fresh) in the Fry Daddy!

| floundr pounder! Troll by the 3 Mile bridge now. The reds are easy pickin' there. And Wharf rat, I'm having me a dinner of those white trout, just about exactly how you stated above, except didn't have Zatarain's and had to formulate my own. Yuu'uum!

Good report. Soon pickens should start to pick up I hope. Good to hear 3mi is still hitting. Thanks for posting.

You catch some, you lose some but the beer will never say no or try to run away.
