| NOTE TO SELF: NEVER FISH THE WEEKEND AGAIN! lol.... The Boat Ramp was a freakin ZOO in both am & pm. We had to dump the boat & park the truck/trailer back in our own driveway! Now the report - - it felt like a repeat of last Sunday. It was windy and cooler on the water. We anchored up over a rocky bottom spot near the Liberty Ship. (PS - Don't stand on your bow to drop and retrieve the anchor in bouncy seas - Scott can tell you that lesson he learned first hand today, LMAO... ) Anyway, in no time we caught our limit of Red Snapper + more & a mingo. They were biting whole frozen cigar minnows & cut chunks of squid. We only kept 2 Snapper - enough for the Mr and myself to eat. We hadn't seen the Pass that to' up in awhile either on our way back in - I thought for a minute we were back in Carolina Beach Inlet - lol. I have pics but they are just regular 'ol Red Snapper so I won't post them. Oh yeah, water temp was 67.2. We are going Wed & Thurs to do some trolling further out - according to Reefcast, seas are **supposed to be** VERY nice.
